Brows on Point in 3 Simple Steps
At Illume Brow & Skin Studio our brow lamination process involves three easy steps:
- Your esthetician will apply a cream to your brows designed to lift the hair while brushing it upwards.
- Then, your esthetician will apply a gentle chemical solution to seal your brows into place, along with a conditioner to prevent skin irritation and hair dryness.
- If desired, your esthetician will perform other services included in your brow lamination package, like tinting or waxing.

Keep Your Brows Flawless: The Ultimate Aftercare Glow-Up
The experienced estheticians at Illume Brow & Skin Studio are here to give you the tips you need to prepare for a brow lamination. If you’re allergic to ammonium thioglycolate, which is an active ingredient in perming and straightening solutions like those we use for brow lamination, you may require a patch test before the day of your appointment. Please notify us if this is the case when requesting your appointment.
Also, please note that you cannot get your brows wet for at least 24 hours after your appointment. This includes all water, but especially hot water and steam. Do not use saunas or kitchen appliances with steam during this time, and avoid showering and excessive sweating from exercise. Your Questions About Brow Lamination
Yes. Our standard brow lamination service includes tinting and shaping for a total of $160. If you would like something different, we also create custom packages that allow you to combine any of our brow bar services, including lamination. To request an appointment and discuss your options with our estheticians, please contact us.
We use a gentle solution with ammonium thioglycolate as an active ingredient for brow lamination. While most clients react well to it, some are allergic. If you suspect you may have an allergy to this chemical, please let us know so we can perform a patch test the day before your brow lamination appointment.
On average, a brow lamination lasts 4-6 weeks. To refresh your brows and maintain their health, we offer a lamination refresh to be scheduled 4-6 weeks after your initial appointment for $100. It includes a gentle exfoliation and conditioning masque.
